The program far exceeded all of my expectations! It is the perfect blending of leadership, development, science, academia, and networking. This program should be a requirement for all first line managers, sworn or professional staff. Bringing this program to the West Coast, and tailoring it towards our landscape, really enhances the capabilities of law-enforcement in California and in the western United States. Students are challenged against everything that they know, or think they know, against science, theory, and other real-world experiences in every profession. I came away from this program with so much more focus, drive, and purpose than any other class I have taken before. It was an honor to be in the class with other key leaders from across the state will be leading the charge and evolving the profession to the next level. David Dereszynski, Huntington Beach PD
ELI provided me with effective tools to address local and global dilemmas, and to continue improving my leadership skills. The strategies and concepts taught by the ELI Faculty had immediate application to my personal and professional life. Giovanni Trejo, Beverly Hills PD
The best leadership program I have attended. The academically based curriculum is challenging, and provokes LE leaders to be innovative in their individual styles of leadership, as well as preparing future leaders for management. Danny Young, Riverside County Sheriff's Department
